Description
This position reports to the head women's basketball coach and will assist in all facets of operating an accomplished Division I women's basketball program. This position will also teach at least one course per academic year.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration/Sports Management, Kinesiology or a related field or foreign education equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and recruiting successful basketball programs at the NCAA Division I level and commitment to leadership, sportsmanship and academics.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the NCAA and Atlantic 10 Conference.
- Demonstrated classroom teaching experience at collegiate level.
- Demonstrated experience as a previous Division I student-athlete.
- Able to work flexible hours as well as many evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- Occasional travel (less than 25%) to various locations where games/tournaments held.
