Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head coach in administering and managing the intercollegiate sport of women’s lacrosse within the educational mission of University and Department of Athletics.
• Assist with teaching and coaching student athletes to compete effectively and successfully on NCAA Division I level.
• Assist with managing and planning for daily practices and intercollegiate contests and supervise conditioning and training program in conjunction with professional staff.
• Assist with recruiting high quality student-athletes who are capable of succeeding in a challenging academic environment and an intensely competitive lacrosse program.
• Provide general guidance and support for student-athletes in athletic and non-athletic endeavors to enhance their experience at the University and promote academic success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and one to three years’ experience in recruiting NCAA prospects and/or coaching at the intercollegiate level required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to demonstrate skill techniques required.
• Ability to travel extensively required.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion required.
