Description
Responsibilities:
-
Assist with all aspects of the volleyball program including but not limited to competition, practice, compliance, budget, academics, student conduct and development.

Assist conducting all practices and competitions necessary to accomplish the objectives of the beach volleyball program within the guidelines of the University, Southland and NCAA rules.

Be the point of contact for all recruitment of highly skilled student-athletes for volleyball teams.

Responsible for adhering to and orienting student-athletes to the policies and regulations of the NCAA, Southland Conference, University of Louisiana System, and University New Orleans.

In consultation with the Vice President of Athletics & Recreation and the Development staff of the University, assist in raising private funds for the indoor volleyball program.

Counsel student-athletes in sport participation and personal development.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree;
-
2 years of volleyball coaching experience;

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

Knowledge of rules and regulations of the NCAA, Southland Conference, University of Louisiana System, and University New Orleans;

Ability to work evenings, weekends and travel, as required.
