The Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach reports directly to the head coach. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the head coach in directing all phases of a NCAA Division II program, organizing and supervising all practices and games, recruiting, sport-specific training and skill instruction. Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the head coach, such as oversight of a specific position group, team travel coordination and academic support services. Works proactively and collaboratively with Residence Life to schedule responsibilities during championship and non-championship seasons. Responsibilities surrounding practices and competition will be prioritized during championship lacrosse season.
The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC), formerly known as a Residence Hall Director, hires, trains, and supervises Resident Assistants, and hourly hall staff; oversees occupancy, key tracking, and hall equipment for designated buildings; provides on-call emergency assistance during non-championship lacrosse season (July – December).; develops and oversees educational programs for residence hall students; serves as a student conduct officer for incidents not involving student-athletes for their sport; and assists with recruitment and enrollment events. The RLC is expected to live in campus housing. This is a part-time, year round RLC position. The combination RLC/Assistant Coach position works collaboratively with another combination position to provide full-time oversight for the assigned buildings. The Residence Life Coordinator reports to the Director of Housing and Residence Life.
