Justin-Siena High School
Description
The Associate Athletic Director works in partnership with the Athletic Director to maintain, organize and administer the overall program of interscholastic athletics, including intramural activities, at the high school level. The Associate Athletic Director supports those interscholastic head coaches, assistant coaches, junior varsity, and freshman coaches in the Athletic department as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Coordination with the Athletic Director for facilities scheduling, usage, and game management for internal and external groups including collaboration to manage outside groups/teams using shared spaces.

Maintains and keeps the current calendar of athletic programming of practices, contests and facilities

Support AD with coordination of game management and supervision for athletic contests as required by the VVAL, NCS, CIF, or Justin-Siena High School, as directed by Director of Athletics or Principal

Support AD in NCS Applications and assist head coaches in their timely submission of applications for post-season competition at the NCS and NorCal-CIF levels as well as coordination of NCS award tracking

Scheduling of volunteers, NFHS camera filming, supervision assignments, and ticketing sales

Coordination with coaching staffs to maintain records, rosters (including creation of and updating) for all seasons, and partner with AD and Athletic trainer regarding athlete tracking to ensure records are accurate and up to date.

Partner with coaches and help manage rosters, provide assistance with ordering and maintaining accurate inventories of uniforms, equipment, and materials

Assists coordinating transportation of students with the Director of Transportation to make sure athletes can get to and from contests.

Assist AD in implementing continued plans to bring our athletic programs to the partner schools in CIF NCS compliant manner.
Qualifications:
- The Associate Athletic Director must have a track record of positive, professional collaboration in team settings and the desire and capacity to grow as an educational leader in our Lasallian culture.
- An understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents is necessary; therefore, a healthy combination of positivity, flexibility, energy, creativity, and a sense of humor is needed.
- The Associate Athletic Director demonstrates a high level of skill in working in a diverse, inclusive community and strong cross-cultural competency skills.
