Description
The Associate Athletic Director for Budget and Business Operation, under general direction, will lead and manage the daily activities and business operations for the Athletics Department.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily activities related to the athletic department business office. Responsible for fiscal operations and direct reports. Prepares yearly multi-million dollar budget for the athletic department. Responsible for the entry of the athletic annual budget in the university software.

Works directly with the University Budget Office. Directs all budgetary and financial operations of the department, including monthly budget and expenditure and revenue reporting and monitoring. Interacts with coaches, sport oversights, and staff concerning budgetary expenses to ensure fiscal clarity.

Supervises the reconciliations of multi-million dollar ticket revenue, accounts receivable, and various other revenue activities. Ensures proper accounting of athletics receipts and revenues are reconciled and reported correctly on university documentation. Reviews and monitors sports’ restricted accounts, internal purchase orders, Booster transfers, purchasing cards, travel cards, severance payouts, and debt service payments.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Four years of related experience.

General knowledge of NCAA rules. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

Oral and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
