Associate Athletic Director for Development

The Associate Athletic Director for Development reports to the Vice President of University Advancement and Engagement (UAAE) and will be responsible for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift donors and prospects for The University of Tulsa Department of Athletics in support of fundraising campaigns and the TU strategic plan.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:

• Serves as the primary liaison between the Office of University Advancement and Alumni Engagement and the leadership of the Athletics Department.
• Helps design and execute a fundraising agenda that will support and advance the Athletics agenda.
• Collaborates with the Vice President & Director of Athletics and the Office of University Advancement and Alumni Engagement in the setting of specific dollar and donor goals for Athletics and meeting these fundraising goals annually, as agreed upon with the Vice President of University Advancement and Alumni Engagement.
• Mentors the Director of Development and provides leadership and management of the activities of the athletics development office.
