Associate Athletic Director for External Operations

Essential Duties:

• Oversee all departmental fundraising efforts.
• Work in conjunction with UIU Advancement and Alumni Relations to cultivate potential donors to UIU Athletics.
• Run the Peacock Golf Outing, Hall of Fame event and banquet, and other special events.
• Handle all sponsorship sales, and game promotions for selected sports.
• Serve as a member of the Athletics Administrative team.
• Oversee specific sports programs as assigned.
• Manage promotions of UIU sports programs.
• Oversee game day guests specifically in football, men’s and women’s basketball, and wrestling programs.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of intercollegiate sport management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job accomplished.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technologically savvy.
• Experience with social media platforms.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
