Description
The Associate Athletic Director P13, under general direction, oversees, manages, administers and maintains the marketing and communications aspect of athletics impact on the university's brand and image. Responsible for oversight of the marketing and communications efforts of the Athletics department through the local, regional, state and national levels to enhance the visibility of the PVAMU Athletics Program.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement plans to increase awareness of PVAMU Athletics through digital communications. Develop and implement marketing strategies to support increasing corporate sponsorship opportunities.

Supervise employees in sports information, ticketing, and athletic communication areas.

Work with university stakeholders to increase fan attendance and in-game participation.

Oversee and direct game presentation efforts to include in-game promotions and video board operations.

Produce and maintain an active plan and timeline for all marketing campaigns to include evaluation and assessment of the effectiveness of campaigns.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

General knowledge of NCAA rules.

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

Oral and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Knowledge of applied fan engagement and promotional strategies.

Experience with game presentation, entertainment, and coordination.

Experience managing digital/social media channels to advance brand affinity.

Skill in establishing rapport with internal and external constituents.
