Description
The Associate Athletics Director is responsible for the oversight of all strategic operations, unit budget analysis, day-to-day operations, special projects and events, and internal and external strategic partnerships. The position will have direct oversight over administrative personnel, interns, work study and other assigned areas.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum five years’ experience.
- Supervisory/management experience.
- Operations in higher education in an athletics program, conference office or an affiliate company; budget experience and oversight; in addition to sport oversight.
- Additional experience required includes creating standard operating procedures and manuals, experience in collegiate athletics with football, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A successful criminal background check is required.
