Description
The Associate Athletics Director for Development and Alumni Engagement is charged with strategic oversight of athletics fundraising and alumni engagement for Trojan Athletics. All duties and responsibilities are governed by state, federal and university policy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, Sports Management or related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in fundraising, marketing, sales or related field, preferably in a collegiate or professional athletics setting. (Other comparable experience will be considered).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a plan, in consultation with the Director of Athletics and the Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer, to inspire new levels of philanthropic support, engagement and commitment from alumni and friends of Trojan Athletics, including growth in major and capital gifts, annual giving and sport specific gifts, all in support of the Department of Athletics’ priorities;
- Oversee the Trojan Fund, the annual fundraising organization for Little Rock Athletics, and serve as a member of the Athletics Leadership Team;
- Collaborate regularly with other Trojan Athletics units including Marketing & Branding, Communications, Facilities & Game Management, act as a liaison to the campus community, and in particular, will have day-to-day engagement with the UA Little Rock Office of Advancement.
- Other duties as assigned.
