Associate Director of Athletics

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the department's efforts to provide academic support services to all student athletes as well as monitoring for athletes whose academic performance demonstrates the need for additional support.
• Coordinate all aspects of home game management including training and assigning site supervisors and hiring, training and supervising student staff.
• Oversee hiring, payroll and training of all department graduate assistants.
• Coordinate all department special events including hall of fame, athletics awards brunch.
• Develop and implement all student athlete leadership training.
• Assist the Director to lead efforts within the Athletics Department to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion, including through recruitment efforts, ongoing professional development for staff, and structured educational opportunities for student-athletes.
• Oversee all aspects of the department's annual assessment activities ensuring alignment with the Student Life Unit and Institutional assessment priorities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree preferred.
• The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual with strong writing, verbal and interpersonal skills: possess strong management and fiscal skills, and have previous college playing, coaching and recruiting experience, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and a demonstrated commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy.
