Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Leisure Studies or related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience within a college recreation setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ARC First Aid and CPR certification. CPR First Aid Instructor required within six months of hire.
- Experience in officiating sports including training student officials for intramural sports programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, When to Work, IM Leagues and website management including making sure information online is up-to-date and making changes when necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple tasks occurring at the same time.
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Fitness Management or related field with a strong emphasis in campus recreation.
- Experience with recreation facility supervision
- Experience with RecTrack and/or Fusion.
- Experience with student staff professional development.
