Athletic Communications Director

Essential Job Functions:

• Develops and maintains the Athletics Department website and assists with team webpages. Coordinates and maintains social media networks. Writes and distributes features and press releases.
• Oversees live audio and video for home competition. Produces game programs.
• Compiles statistics and reports results to the NCAA, NCAC, and appropriate media outlets. Distributes news releases to local, regional, and national media sources.
• During active matches and games, oversees the public address system, clock, and scoreboard operation and staff.
• Trains and supervises assigned staff.
• Coordinates interview requests for players, coaches, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree is required.
• 1-3 years of job experience working in a Sports Information or Athletic Communication department.
