Description
Directs the Athletic program at a regional campus. Leads team and oversees budgets, planning, fundraising, marketing, media contract negotiations, student-athlete development, and facilities. Ensures compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of 15 varsity sports (men’s and women’s) in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) competing at the NCAA Division II level with approximately 300 student athletes participating.
- Oversight of student recreation activities including the Wellness Center, Aquatic Center and club sports with almost 100 student athletes in those sports.
- Supervision of head coaches and staff consisting of Asst, AD for Compliance, Assistant AD for Recreation and Student Athlete Services, SID, 2 Athletic Trainers and Administrative Assistant.
- Responsible for leading the athletic fundraising strategies in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement.
- Oversight and management of all competition, practice and recreation facilities for student athletes and students including the utilization of off-site facilities for practices and games. Provide plans for maintenance and upgrades of facilities and equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all University, federal, state, PSAC and NCAA rules, regulations and laws governing intercollegiate athletics.

- Must have strong organization, project management and communication skills.
- Must be knowledgeable on all rules, regulations and laws governing intercollegiate athletics.
- Must understand financial and budgeting processes.
- Must be a strong supporter of student athletes and the benefits of intercollegiate athletics.
