To provide direction and coordination for the district’s athletic program and to guide the development and implementation of an instructional program that will provide engaging health and physical education experiences for our students. The athletic director is responsible for the development and operation of the district's interscholastic athletics.
- Applicant must hold current NYS Administrative Certification and NYS Certification in Physical Education, and preferably NYS Certification in Health.
- Applicant must have experience as a health and/or physical education teacher and coach of an athletic team totaling at least five years.
- Applicant must possess professional leadership skills and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with instructional staff, athletes, coaches, school personnel and community members.
