Description
The Athletic and Activities Director coordinates, monitors, schedules and supervises all activity, clubs and athletic groups and events for Aztec High School and Koogler Middle School.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Education Administration.
- New Mexico Certification in Education Administration Level 3B.
- Must complete a finger-print background check.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate cognitive skills to gather, analyze and synthesize information to reach goals.
- Manage group behaviors to achieve consensus.
- Enhance quality of total school athletic and activity organization.
- Organize and delegate to accomplish goals.
- Communicate effectively.
- Assume responsibility for assisting in the general supervision of all school activities involving pupils, teachers, and other school personnel.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining an effective learning, activity, and athletic climate in the school.
- Assist in the provision of athletic and activity discipline.
- Maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline according to due process for the rights of students.
- Safeguard and maintain school records in areas such as discipline and grades.
