Athletic Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive athletic program that aligns with the school's mission and values.
• Provide visionary leadership and strategic planning for all athletic activities and events.
• Recruit, hire, and manage a qualified coaching staff, ensuring their ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate and manage all logistics related to practices, games, and tournaments, including transportation and facility usage.
• Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and parents to ensure that student-athletes maintain academic success while participating in sports.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to athletic eligibility, behavior, and safety.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the broader community to enhance support for the athletic program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in athletic administration, coaching, or related roles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire coaches and student-athletes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations governing high school athletics.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the athletic program.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
