Description
The Director of Athletic Facilities oversees the daily supervision and management of facilities staff, manages building proctors and facility-related activities for the Athletics Department and provides overall leadership and management of all on-campus Athletic Facilities.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate all arrangements for scheduled and approved internal and external programming, including all campus events, athletic events, and third party requests.

Receives and approves requests for PVAMU Athletic facilities and usage.

Works directly with University Special Events Coordinator to execute contracts and coordinate events.

Assist with special events as needed (i.e. Athletic tournaments, concerts, career days, speakers, etc.).

Serves on college committees as appropriate, attends convocations, graduations, and attends other campus functions as necessary.

Ensures timely, secure opening and closing of buildings according to schedule; as well as security of buildings at all times.

Manages light schedule and space utilization (set-up, clean-up, IT support, AV support).

Directs operations, maintenance of facilities and grounds, and utilization of all Athletics controlled facilities in conjunction with campus services.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree.

Seven years of related experience in facility or property management, facility coordination, and audio/visual equipment and computers.
