Basketball Coach

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provides skill level coaching and team coaching for the OPS Basketball Academy. The includes individual and group skill development, AAU coaching, and community outreach initiatives.
• Coaching should address the physical, mental, and educational needs of our basketball athletes.
• Assists with the set up and tear down of training, traveling for tournaments and camps, and others coaching duties related to basketball events.
• Helps game plan for AAU and organize practices.
• Assists athletes at showcases, camps, and clinics as well as be a recruiting resource for OPS athletes.
• Help recruit potential AAU athletes to play for OPS.

Qualifications:

• CPR Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current driver’s license is required to travel to assigned sites.
• USA Basketball Coaching Certification within 1 year.
• High School Diploma required.
• College degree a plus.
