Basketball Coach

This position assists in the overall success & growth of the Shoot 360 program and facility. The Coach will meet with clients, understands goals, and maintains program expectations for In Shape Family Fitness through sessions, assuring client improvement and satisfaction, and meets sessions and sales goals. This position will actively sell new Shoot 360 memberships and lead Shoot 360 sessions daily.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assist the department in the success & growth of the Shoot 360 program and facility; including engaging in member retention and customer service, maintain a high level of cleanliness inside the facility, and general maintenance of basketball equipment.
• Selling of new memberships through on-site evaluations to support in obtaining monthly targets
• Deliver Shoot 360 sessions to meet or exceed standards and expectations of program.
• Assist in skill development with workouts by connecting, correcting, competing, and challenging the members.
• Perform on-site events, camps, clinics to generate new membership growth.
• Communicate effectively with members, coworkers and manager verbally and in writing.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Ensure facility is kept clean and safe at all times through routine maintenance and safety checks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Coaching experience highly desired.
• Strong service orientation and desire to deliver an outstanding member experience.
• Computer literate – proficient at MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organization and strong time management skills.
• Work quality must be highly accurate, timely, and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Excellent task completion and follow-through skills.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, cooperation, and ability to work well with all parties.
• Maintaining focus in a sometimes hectic and evolving environment.
• High regard and propensity for safety.
• Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays.
