Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach

Qualifications:

• Has knowledge and background in the sport.
• First Aid Training.
• CPR Training.
• Concussion Management Course.
• Heat & Acclimatization Course.
• RSU 57 Background Check.
• Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check.
• Requirements must be met when specified.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards for athletes’ performance and conduct.
• Model standards of conduct in own behavior.
• Dress appropriately at practices and games.
• Knowledge of sport.
• Knowledge of training and conditioning techniques.
• Seek opportunities to learn and employ new techniques and ideas.
• Teach skills that are appropriate and safe for the individual athlete.
• Supervise athletes at all times.
• Maintain, inventory, properly store and care for equipment.
• Check equipment and facilities for safety.
