Club Men’s Rugby Head Coach

Responsibilities:

• Develop a recruitment plan for the next five years in order to increase the size of the roster.
• Work to increase the presence of men's rugby on campus.
• Attend all rugby practices and create a comprehensive plan for game preparation.
• Create a competitive schedule in both the fall and spring semesters.
• Attend all rugby matches and act as the head coach and University liaison.
• Responsible for the retention of all team members, particularly first year students and ensure their transition into college is seamless.
• Work with the Club Sports staff to develop a cohesive program and highlight those via social media and the club sports website.
• Will create and implement a weekly practice plan to ensure all team members are prepared for competition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of USA Rugby rules and regulations.
• Extensive experience at college level as a player and/or coach.
• Previous coaching experience required.
