Coach, Lacrosse – Boys Varsity

Head coach sought for boys lacrosse program. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the varsity lacrosse program as well as providing direction and support to the junior varsity program. Lunenburg High School is seeking a coach with proven lacrosse coaching experience at the high school varsity level.

Responsibilities:

• Complies with school and MIAA policies and regulations.
• Complies with school and District/League policies and regulations.
• Works cooperatively with the school staff.
• Relates positively to parents and other community representatives.
• Completes required records and reports with promptness and accuracy.
• Assumes responsibility for the care of equipment and facilities.
• Assumes responsibility for a safe environment for student-athletes.
• Models positive behaviors, especially with regard to sportsmanship and the alcohol, tobacco, and drug rules.
• Coordinates staff organization.
• May delegates staff assignments to assistant coaches.
• Develops and organizes a practice program.

Requirements:

• Must have CPR/AED, First Aid, and Concussion certifications prior to appointment to position.
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
