Cross Country Coach

HSCPA is looking for Cross Country coaches to lead our team to a winning season. In this position, you will work with our athletes to help improve their skills and performance. This may involve running drills, leading conditioning exercises, or providing instruction on in-game strategy. You will also attend games and make travel arrangements for away games. Our ideal candidate has experience in cross country at the college level and has previous team sports coaching experience. A degree in sports management or exercise science is also beneficial.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize and schedule the Cross Country season.
• Conduct player tryouts at the beginning of the season.
• Lead team practices and conditioning sessions.
• Provide in-game strategy.
• Coordinate travel plans for away games.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Substitute License or be able to obtain one.
• Experience in Cross Country at the college level; coaching experience is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of game rules and coaching techniques.
• Leadership and communication skills.
