Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost for Student Achievement, this position will work directly with the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Welfare and Development and is responsible for all activities associated with student-athlete academic services, which includes supervising academic advising/counseling processes of all student-athletes, overseeing academic progress rate (APR) and graduation success rate (GSR) data collection and entry, managing departmental budget as well as athletics allocated summer school budget, organize and conduct recruiting visits for prospective student-athletes, supervising all aspects of the admission and orientation processes for incoming student-athletes and assisting in the request and management of resources available through the NCAA Student Assistance and Academic Enhancement Funds. This position will supervise direct reports focused on academic services and collaborate effective with campus partners and coaching staff.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Five years of program administration experience and/or academic counseling, or related experience at the University level.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
