Director of Athletics

Education Requirements:

• BA/BS in Education, preferred.
• Experience in athletic administration, and/or coaching preferred.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of theory, research methods, and best practices in educational athletics.
• Experience in teaching physical education or coaching preferred.
• Knowledge of physical development, exercise physiology and wellness, desired.
• Five years of successful coaching as a head varsity coach, preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and relate positively with students, parents, staff, coaches and other members of the community.
• Planning and organizational skills, knowledge of age appropriate athletic programs.
• Computer literacy skills.
• Emergency planning/response.
