Director of Athletics & Co-Curricular Programs

Lebanon Middle School is seeking a Director of Athletics & Co-Curriculars who serves as an active and collaborative member of the LMS administrative team. This part time stipend based position oversees the entire athletic and co-curricular programs including scheduling and hiring. The program consists of field hockey, football, golf, basketball, gymnastics, baseball, softball, and a variety of co-curriculars such as the drama program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field.
• Experience as a Coach, preferably middle school.
• Experience Managing a team or program preferred.
• Current NHDOE teacher certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develops short and long-range goals and objectives for the athletic and co-curricular programs and evaluates their attainment annually.
• Administers and enforces Lebanon School District policies and procedures as documented in the athletic and co-curricular handbook.
• Prepares and maintains a handbook for coaches.
• Plans, manages, and administers the yearly budget for athletic and co-curricular programs.
• Presents budget to stakeholder groups.
• Coordinates a system for athletic equipment, supply requisitions and purchases.
• Posts positions, interviews, and recommendations for employment coaches and co-curricular advisors.
• Supervises and provides written evaluations for all coaches and co-curricular advisors to include a parent and student feedback form.
• Serves as the official liaison between the coaches/advisors and the Principal.
• Mediates student athlete/coach conflicts.
