The primary responsibility of the District Athletic Director is to coordinate and monitor all aspects of the athletic programs sponsored by the district. This includes but is not limited to staffing, ordering of equipment/uniforms for teams, coordinating transportation, promoting sporting events, and managing the athletic budget. In addition, the District Athletic Director is responsible for keeping current with all policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to athletic programs in an elementary and middle school setting.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Administrative experience preferred. Athletic coaching and/or athletic participation preferred.
- Licenses/Registrations: Professional Educator Certificate Educational Leadership, School Principal, or Administration and Supervision.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
