Elementary PE & Health Teacher

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop age-appropriate and comprehensive physical education and health curricula aligned with educational standards.
• Create engaging lesson plans that focus on the development of motor skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Deliver effective and interactive physical education and health lessons to elementary school students.
• Implement a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes physical activity and well-being.
• Assess students’ progress in physical education and health, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Implement assessments to measure motor skills, fitness levels, and understanding of health-related topics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.
• State teaching certification in elementary education with a specialization in physical education or health.
• Strong knowledge of child development, physical fitness, and health education principles.
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
