DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop age-appropriate and comprehensive physical education and health curricula aligned with educational standards.
- Create engaging lesson plans that focus on the development of motor skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Deliver effective and interactive physical education and health lessons to elementary school students.
- Implement a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes physical activity and well-being.
- Assess students’ progress in physical education and health, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Implement assessments to measure motor skills, fitness levels, and understanding of health-related topics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.
- State teaching certification in elementary education with a specialization in physical education or health.
- Strong knowledge of child development, physical fitness, and health education principles.
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
