Elementary Physical Education Teacher

American Academy (AA) is accepting applications for an Elementary Physical Education Instructor for the 2024-25 academic year at our Lincoln Meadows campus. Health and physical education classes at American Academy emphasize skills, sportsmanship, and the importance of nutrition, good health and physical activity in a healthy lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
• Teach American Academy's physical education curriculum with fidelity.
• Uphold and model American Academy’s Manners and Character.
• Work as a positive member of the grade level team to provide an exceptional education.
• Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
• Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and administration.
• Timely upkeep of records including grades and assignments in Infinite Campus and updates on webpage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Elementary Education teaching license.
• Endorsement in Physical Education and/or Health.
