Elementary School Health & Physical Education Teacher

Girard College seeks a certified Health and Physical Education Teacher for elementary school students beginning approximately February 24, 2025. Our teachers implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and instruction aligned to PA State Standards, work collaboratively with teachers in other disciplines as well as residential staff and participate fully in the school’s academic and residential community.

• Utilize data to drive instruction and learning intervention.
• Design and implement unit and lesson plans in collaboration with grade/subject teams.
• Collaborate with building leaders, instructional coaches, teacher leaders and colleagues to continuously improve instructional, culture-building and leadership skills.
• Participate enthusiastically in all professional development, instructional planning, teacher/residential collaborative team meetings, community meetings and MTSS meetings.
