Description
Under the general supervision of the Head Football Strength & Conditioning Coach, act as a Coach for the Division's Strength & Conditioning Program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the strength and conditioning drills.
- Teaching weight lifting and conditioning techniques.
- Managing the safety and maintenance of the weight room area.
- Development and implementation of warmup and cool down protocols.
- Computerized data entry and tracking of student-athlete workouts.
- Supervision of student employees.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Football Strength & Conditioning.
Qualifications:
- Prior collegiate coaching experience preferred.
- Other qualifications include the ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and administrators, faculty, staff and students.
- The successful applicant must be able develop and implement innovative approaches and solutions; work well independently and in teams; and be flexible in accepting new responsibilities.
