This position is not included in the NCAA limit of five football strength and conditioning coaches and must comply with established NCAA limitations on providing coaching or instructional technique directly to student-athletes.
Assist Football Strength Staff in all aspects of developing and implementing strength, speed, agility, conditioning, flexibility, mobility, and recovery protocols for the Texas Athletics Football Program.
Daily weight room supervision, upkeep and maintenance of equipment, completion of internship curriculum, and other duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all NCAA and Texas Athletics rules and policies.
Experience with free weight training, Olympic lifting, and or speed training.
Experience participating in a NCAA sport.
Strong interpersonal communications skills.
Previous experience in an intercollegiate strength and conditioning program.
