Freshman Girls Basketball Head Coach

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old and a High School graduate.
• Knowledge of coaching techniques and coaching psychology.
• Basic knowledge of first aid training and training techniques.
• Excellent character and ability to serve as a positive role model to student athletes.
• Willing to work cooperatively in all aspects of our interscholastic athletic program.
• Experience as a player and coach in this sport.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current First Aid Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Verified internship under an experienced head coach or provide evidence demonstrating completion of the MHSAA program for Athletic Coaches Education.
• Basic knowledge of prevention and care of athletic injuries.
• Ability to relate well with students, parents, and school personnel.
