Competencies:
- Strong understanding of fundamentals of the sport
- Strong background on fundamentals of the sport
- Ability to instruct athletes in both technical and tactical sides of the sport
- Ability to break down the game to simple step by step instructions
- Ability to assume responsibility for leadership over student program participants
- Ability to apply individual discipline, emphasizing safety precautions, and instructing team members in the rules and techniques of the activity
- Ability to be a positive role model and supervisor of high school students
- Understanding and/or willing to learn all of the district regulations and league rules
- Demonstrated record of personal safety and ability to promote safety in the workplace, including abstinence from alcohol and other illicit substances.
Requirements:
- Valid First Aid/CPR card required.
- Valid certificate of current concussion training required.
- All state required trainings required.
- Fingerprinting (fee paid by employee).
