Golf Coach, 7- 12 Grades

Victory Christian School (VCS) is taking applications for a Golf Coach. Applicant will provide a wholesome Christian environment for students to develop skills to participate in team sports. Reports to the Athletic Director and school Principal/Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Coach team (teaching golf skills and sportsmanship).
• Be thoroughly familiar with the objectives, policies, and procedures of VCS and the athletic department of VCS.
• Be a positive spokesperson for VCS.
• Be responsible for players at all times.

Qualifications:

• Experience in coaching golf preferred; knows the fundamentals of the sport.
• Reflecting a positive attitude and uses sound, consistent judgment when making decisions.
• Must be willing to complete a BCI/FBI background check and signed a confidentially statement.
• Must be willing to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit from the Ohio Department of Education.
• Must be willing to complete the Fundamentals of Coaching Course, valid CPR, First Aid, Concession Training, Ohio Sudden Cardiac Arrest training.
• Displays appropriate appearance, behavior, and language during matches and practices.
• Must have knowledge and effectively supervise, motivate, and communicate with athletes.
