Description
BMS coaches must demonstrate an understanding of the full range of physical and social/emotional needs of our middle school student athletes. They should consistently display a personal manner and a professional skill set that would inspire participation and build the confidence and skill necessary for all players to improve as both students and athletes.
Qualifications:
- Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.
- Must be able to be at Bettendorf Middle School by 3:15pm to lead practice.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead practices and team activities designed to develop the student athletes in the game of football.
- Monitor the academic progress of your student athletes and adhere to the school’s eligibility guidelines.
- Supervise the locker room before and after all practices and games.
- Keep track of all equipment issued and help put away at the end of season.
