Under the direction of the assigned athletic administrator, the Head Baseball Coach is accountable for the administration, fiscal management and development of the Men’s Baseball program. This candidate will manage the resources provided by the University which support the essential components of the program and will be actively involved in fundraising to enhance resources for the program. This individual must abide by the rules and regulations established by Oregon Institute of Technology, the Cascade Conference (CCC), and the NAIA.
Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) year’s collegiate coaching experience and/or four (4) years High School Head Coaching or Club Experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of the CCC and NAIA rules related to Baseball and eligibility.
Ability to drive a 12 passenger van.
Ability to travel, rent vehicles, drive in large cities and fly in commercial aircraft.
Ability to supervise assistant coaches and student workers.
