Head Basketball Coach

As the Head Basketball Coach, you will have the opportunity to shape and guide our basketball program, inspiring athletes to reach their full potential while fostering a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. At Forsyth Technical Community College, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the men’s basketball program. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive training program, recruiting student-athletes, and ensuring overall academic and athletic success of the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven experience in coaching basketball, preferably at the collegiate level or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of NJCAA regulations and a commitment to compliance and integrity.
• Ability to recruit and develop student-athletes.
• Dedication to fostering a positive team environment.

• Design effective practice plans and game strategies to maximize team performance.
• Lead team in fundraising for your program.
• Identify and recruit talented student-athletes who can excel both academically and athletically.
• Maintain strong relationships with high school coaches, club coaches, and recruiting networks.
• Foster an inclusive environment that supports the retention and graduation of student-athletes.
