Head Boys Baseball Coach

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for program development grades 7-12, lends support to the entire Activities Department, the youth baseball program, and to the vision and mission of the district.
• Assists in the evaluation of assistant coaches and submits recommendations in writing. Ultimately, responsible for all equipment that is issued, collected, and keeps an accurate inventory.
• Directs pre-season meetings with parents, athletes and coaches as well as in-season staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Minnesota Department of Education valid coaching certification or valid certificate from the National Federation Coaches Education Program.
• Experience as a coach or as a participant in the sport.
• Must have sound knowledge and background of the sport they are coaching.
• Must be able to relate to student-athletes in a positive manner and be a good role model.
• Teaching position may be available.
