Head Boys Basketball Coach

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in the assigned subject area (teaching field open).

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of basketball coaching techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules.
• Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes at a high level.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead successful 9-12 boys basketball program.
• Provide student athletes with an opportunity to participate in a successful basketball program.
• Provide quality instruction and skills development for students/athletes.
• Promote participation in athletic program at all levels.
• Establish and maintain a collaborative coaching environment.
• Establish and maintain a positive line of communication with all stakeholders.
