Head Coach, Baseball

This position will administer the sport of Baseball within the rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Big West Conference, and the mission of the University.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, recruit, train, and coach student athletes to compete successfully against major college competition in a quality Baseball program.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress.
• Develop a competitive schedule; schedule, organize and supervise all practices and competitions.
• Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for team.
• Hire and supervise assistant coaches and staff.
• Fundraising/public relations.

Education and Experience:

• Collegiate coaching or equivalent experience in Baseball.
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse population.
• Heavy work - Job involves lifting more than 40 pounds. Approximately half of the incumbent's time will be spent walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, or climbing.
• Driver license required.
