Head Coach Co-Ed Golf Team

Penn State Scranton , located in Dunmore , Pennsylvania, a member of the United State Collegiate Athletics Association (USCAA)and Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and is accepting applications for the Head Coach of the Co-Ed Golf Team.

Responsibilities:

• Direct practice and competition coaching.
• Direct the evaluation and recruitment of academically qualified and skilled student-athletes.
• Direct pre- and post-season coaching, conditioning, and training.
• Oversee academic monitoring and the personal development of student-athletes.
• Assist with fundraising efforts in the Athletic Department.
• Select and manage assistant coaches.
• Arrange weekly practice schedules with pre-determined contract golf facilities.
• Provide vision and leadership to create a positive team culture.
• Maintain equipment and assist with equipment and gear orders to maximize budgets in support of the student-athlete experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Coaching or playing experience at the high school level.
• Collegiate coaching experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a driving background check.
