Head Coach, Golf

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Head Golf Coach. This position coaches both Men's and Women's Golf Teams. The primary role of this individual is to establish and execute a team philosophy centered on growing young men and women spiritually, physically, intellectually, and professionally.

Duties:

• Ensure program compliance with NAIA, SSAC, and University and Athletic Department rules, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee yearly budget for program.
• Schedule and provide transportation for each competition.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions.
• Develop and foster positive relationships with high schools and other institutions where recruits may be drawn.
• Collaborate closely with the Athletic Director and the Office of Admissions in setting annual recruitment and scholarship numbers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience as a head or assistant golf coach, with some experience at the college level preferred.
• Ability to work frequent evening and weekend hours, as well as travel.
• Active member of the churches of Christ.
