The Head Coach for JV Girls Tennis at Three Rivers Community Schools, guided by the Athletic Director, will champion Wildcat athletics and overall physical fitness. Emphasizing skill development, they will cultivate a positive extracurricular experience that enriches the academic journey for our students.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated satisfactory performance in current position, exhibiting traits such as outgoing, positive, energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and without supervision. Must consistently maintain a professional demeanor.
- Possession of a High School Diploma.
- Ability and willingness to communicate effectively and positively with students, staff, administrators, parents, the community, and the press/media.
- Proficiency in teaching the fundamentals of volleyball, including regulations, rules, and strategies.
- Familiarity with facilities, equipment, and basic emergency first aid procedures.
- Dedication to the philosophy of fair play and sportsmanship.
- Commitment to supporting the school, school district, and athletic conference by attending related meetings.
- Availability for practices, competitions, and bus trips, including those scheduled on weekends. Demonstrating regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental job requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education.
- Previous track record of positive coaching and competitive experience in tennis.
- Knowledge of MHSAA rules and regulations.
