Head Coach – Men’s Golf

As part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University seeks qualified applicants for a part-time Head Men’s Golf Coach to promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by providing assistance to the general operation for the Men’s Golf program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values and honoring the legacy of the founding congregation through transformative education, unity in diversity, leadership through service, integrating faith and life, and institutional policies.
• Ensure compliance with NAIA recruiting rules and regulations.
• Assist with the supervision and organization of practices and games while complying with relevant NAIA rules and regulations.
• Maintain proper and appropriate discipline among students during athletic contests, practices and while on trips off campus.
• Attend campus, conference, and national meetings as necessary.
• Comply with policies established by federal and state laws, Marian University, Conference, and NAIA policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Prior coaching experience (high school, college, and/or studio/club).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must display excellent customer and staff relation skills.
• Knowledge of and a commitment to the mission of Marian University.
