Description
SUNY Brockport Athletics invites applications for the position of Head Women's Flag Football Coach. This is a full time, benefit-eligible 12-month position. The individual will report to the Director of Athletics. Weekend, holiday, early morning and/or late night evening hours are required. The successful candidate will oversee operations of a competitive and inclusive NCAA Division III Women's Flag Football program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
- Three years coaching experience and proven track record of recruiting success.
- Knowledge and compliance with NCAA and DIII rules and regulations. This includes taking and passing the annual NCAA Division III rules test.
- Knowledge of Front Rush software.
- Certification in CPR, first aid, must complete AED training within three months after hire.
- Valid and unrestricted NYS driver's license, or ability to secure a New York State driver's license within three months after hiring to drive State owned vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
- Collegiate playing experience.
- Previous experience as a collegiate head coach.
- Previous experience supervising professional coaching staff.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Division III philosophy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
