Description
The Head Women’s Tennis Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and serves as a member of the department staff that is committed to excellence and advancing the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through its strategic plan and vision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing direction and leadership for the Women’s Tennis program, coordinating the day-to-day operations of the program to include, but not limited to, recruiting and roster management, practicing, scheduling, planning and preparation for competition.
- Coordinating the logistics for all team travel to competitions including transportation, lodging, and meals.
- Coordinating the procurement of all team-related gear, equipment, supplies and services. Maintaining care of appropriate equipment and Central Arkansas Tennis facilities.
- Monitoring the program budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and sound budgetary processes and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with NCAA Division I, Atlantic Sun, and University rules and regulations.
- Working collaboratively with Athletic Academic Advising to monitor academic progress and student-athlete success.
- Serving as liaison to and work in a highly collaborative fashion with alumni and friends of the program.
- Other duties as assigned.
