Head Coach – Wrestling

• Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), and be among the top programs within the conference.
• Oversee scheduling, practice planning, game day operations and travel.
• Oversee the overall administration of the men’s wrestling program including the recommendation for hire and supervision of coaching staff.
• Oversee the program’s operational and recruitment budget.
• Understand and follow the rules, regulations and protocol of the University, GLVC and the NCAA.
• Connect with the alumni of the program including but not limited to opportunities to meet, invitations to appropriate team activity and other stewardship activity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree.
• Five or more years as a successful coach.
• Thorough understanding of the sport including all technical aspects.
• The ability to effectively teach team and individual skills connected with team and student-athlete development.
